由半島電視台英文頻道首次舉辦之亞洲紀錄片企劃書提案計畫現在公開招募報名。具紀錄片拍攝經驗的亞洲各國的紀錄片製作人或導演可於2012年8月3日前遞交以亞洲為題的紀錄片拍攝企劃書。入選者將獲邀前往韓國釜山，於2012年9月30日至10月6日期間，參加與釜山影展亞洲紀錄片連線(AND)合辦之「半島電視台觀察型紀錄片工作坊」。完成工作坊而又符合電視頻道要求之拍片企劃案，更有機會獲委任進行紀錄片拍攝及於半島電視台節目中播放。

Al Jazeera English launches an Open Call for Filmmakers in Asia.
Our Open Call invites Asian based filmmakers to submit their proposals for participation in our October Documentary Workshop. If your proposal is accepted you will be selected to participate in the Al Jazeera Observational Documentary Workshop. The deadline to receive proposals is 3 August, 2012. The Workshop will be held in October, 2012 in partnership with Asian Network of Documentary. At the conclusion of the workshop, projects that meet our channel’s criteria will be commissioned for broadcast on Al Jazeera.
